When you are setting up your base alignment, creating constructions, or defining characteristics, you can quickly select features that you already created from the CAD model.
1. First, make sure you have a new characterstic/alignment/construction window open.
2. On the very left of the CAD toolbar on the bottom of the Calypso window, choose "Select Already Extracted Features" from the pop-out list.
3. Then simply click on the model surface that corresponds with the feature you need.
4. That feature will automatically appear in the window, so you don't have to spend so much time finding it in the feature list.
